Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003

Processing of personal data

In compliance with the obligations imposed by art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, (Law governing the protection of personal data), which safeguards for the personal data of individuals and entities, we hereby inform you, as the data subject, that 1000 Miglia Srl, with operational headquarters at Via Enzo Ferrari 4/6, will process the personal data that you already have or that you will provide for us in future.

Under the above law, your data will be processed complying with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and the safeguarding of your privacy and of your rights, in any case, will be carried out in full compliance with the Italian law on privacy and, in particular, Legislative Decree 196/2003.

We therefore inform you of the following.

1) Purpose of processing: the personal data that we have been provided with will only be processed for purposes related to and necessary for the 2018 Mille Miglia race, and, particularly, in order to formalise your registration and complete the formalities arising from the same, to promote the event in the local, national and international press and on the radio, TV and the web, to send correspondence and newsletters, for updates, for anonymous statistical purposes directed at finding sponsors and commercial and institutional partners, to enter particulars in databases and to perform all the duties arising from legislative, regulatory, contractual and legal obligations related from the relationship that has been entered into with you.

2) Method of processing: your personal data will be processed by the data controller, by the data officer or by persons expressly instructed to do so by the data controller or officer, and processing may take place with the help of hard or soft mediums, on screen or by any automated means, adopting criteria strictly related to the purposes that have been stated and in such a way as to ensure the security and privacy of the data, in full compliance with arts. 3 and 11 of Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003.
Specific security measures are adopted by 1000 Miglia S.r.l. in order to ensure the protection of personal data and to minimize the risks of destruction, loss, unauthorized access or processing of personal data that is not allowed or does not comply with the purpose of the collection.

3) Nature of the collection of your data and consequences should you not provide them: it is mandatory to provide your personal data in order to fulfil the purposes related to your registration and comply with the obligations laid down by law or under other binding rules, and it is also necessary to provide your personal data in order to implement and pursue the relationship that has been entered into with you correctly. Failure to provide the required personal data, therefore, makes it impossible to register for the event in question.

4) Disclosure: your personal data may be disclosed, for the purposes stated above, to natural and legal persons if such disclosure is necessary or desirable for the administrative and organisational management of the 2018 Mille Miglia, to banking institutions in order to manage collections and payments, to insurance institutions, to collaborators, interns and consultants that have been specifically instructed within the framework of their relative duties and to photographers acting as independent data controllers or as external professionals appointed by virtue of specific contracts to take photographs of fixed or moving subjects or produce images of such subjects.

5) Right of the data subject: you may exercise your rights with respect to the data controller at any time in accordance with Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003. Among these rights, specifically, are those 1) of obtaining confirmation of the existence, or not, of your personal data, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form; 2) of being informed of their source, of the purposes and methods of processing, of the processing criteria adopted, to have knowledge of the origin of the same, the purposes and the methods of treatment, the logic applied to the processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, the identification details of the subjects to whom the data can be communicated or who can become aware of them in their position as a designated representative in the territory of the state, of those responsible or in charge; 3) to obtain the updating, rectification or integration of the data, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of the data processed in violation of the law, including those for which there is no need for conservation in relation to the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed, as well as the attestation that the transactions referred to in this point 3 have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data have been communicated or distributed, except where such fulfillment is impossible or requires the use of means that are manifestly disproportionate to the protected right; 4) your personal data as well as to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of the data, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection, as well as the processing of such data for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sale or for the purpose of research market or commercial communication.

and herewith declare

that I accept the terms and conditions outlined herebelow:

1) I undertake to perform my duties on a voluntary and unpaid basis.

2) I herewith release 1000 Miglia srl from any and every liability for damage in connection with my duties as volunteer, regardless of whoever or whatever may be responsible, including acts of God or natural causes beyond the control of 1000 Miglia srl.

3)I herewith accept full liability for any damage which I may cause to persons or property in the course of my duties as volunteer..

4) I have read and understood the rules and regulations governing the event, and undertake to comply with them in full.

5) I acknowledge that all material pertinent to the event and entrusted to me remains the property of the organizers
